I had the same problem, and the mechanic told that I needed to replace the rack and pinion, on my 2003 ford mustang, but did really had the money, so of course I turned to Scotty Kilmer, did exactly what he show me and now my steering is soft like butter, I don't really know or understand what's your motivation for helping so many people, but THANKS GOD he made you man, you are awesome!😂

as I've said a few thousand times, I'm half deaf from fixing cars the last 44 years. That's how I talk normally, drives my wife nuts.

You are a wonder man!!! you fixed my problem that I was dreading. I thought I would need to replace my steering wheel pump.
But you came thru like a shining beacon of knowledge.
All my respects to you and your wisdom.

Worked like a charm! While steering rack loosened up (it actually took a couple of days to get completely back to normal), Scotty's "fix" actually made things a little sticky when wifey saw me trying to slip the turkey baster back into the kitchen drawer. Fortunately I was able to distract her by wiping my hands on the linen kitchen rag.

My steering wheel was almost impossible to move out of a parking spot. I found this video and tried it... wow! It feels brand new! Thank you much!

Scotty,

My car has sounded terrible for the past 6 months. 2006 Honda CRV 160K miles. I used the baster, removed the old fluid, it was already very low.... bought a couple cans of the generic Honda fluid and the Seafoam trans fluid you recommended.... pulled all the old fluid with half a tank with new fluid, idled the car for probably 45 minutes added half a can of the sea foam and worked the steering wheel every 5 minutes.... at the end, I siphoned all the dirty fluid out and replaced the new fluid entirely. Works like a DREAM! You saved me big money man. God bless people like you. You could make a lotta money being a crook but you’re a righteous man and an honest dude and good things happen to people like you. Thanks Scott Kilmer, you are the man!

Scotty you are a lifesaver. I'm a frugal shade tree mechanic and have known for about a year my steering rack was the issue, but too cheap to buy a new one. I'm so glad I came across this video. It didn't completely fix my power steering binding but it sure has made it drive easier and better on the road. It is really close to back to factory spec. I am going to do another run of trans tune and see if I can blast off another layer of varnish and crud. Honda CRV 2007. This stuff has probably saved me from buying a new rack. Thank you so much for all your frugal wisdom.

Scotty Kilmer I tried this on my daughter's 06 Focus and it worked!! Honestly I had my doubts because every 3 mins I steered the wheel it made loud noise. I Followed your steps and yay it worked!! Thank so much. The steering wheel feels 100% much better. I have subscribed to your channel and definitely refer you to my fam and friends. God Bless you. 😊

I had steering issues on my truck was acting funny steered okay but it kinda lagged and was hard at times. I'm a mechanic and I do all my own work to my cars thought I had to put in a rack or a pump. I figured I'll try it I used the exact same stuff he described it was like 7 dollars I was very skeptical thought it would never work. went through the process except I had to hold the steering against the stops for a bit. Worked great!! never had an issue ever again and it's been about 4 months love this Chanel and videos!

yes, you would need that when done. There are tons of companies that rebuild racks, but personally, I only use brand new ones, rebuilts often stink. Call around in your area for prices on new ones.
