Wonderful interpretation. As is most of what Mr. Di Meola does its certifiable genius. Thanks for this.

The 2 best covers of a day in the life: this and Jeff Beck's.

Two of my favorite Beatles songs done by my favorite guitarist. Thank you Al, this is beautiful.

You are surely still one of the most wonderous guitarists I've ever known, Al.

Al, my guitar spirit animal for decades. Easily bored, restless, always searching for the fresh and interesting. Al gets me. We'd hang out.

The contrast between this & Jeff Beck’s version shows what red meat this 2 songs in one is to the best of the best. Nice way to see that Elenor’s grave is kept clean.

Thanks Al for your superb arrangements and impeccable guitar artistry on these Beatles Classics. So many of us learned how to hear and play music because of the incredible natural genius of the Fab Four. You’ve made a wonderful tribute to that legacy.

John Lennon would be proud to hear the music of the Beatles played by one of the best guitar players in the world, great!

Eleanor Rigby has to be one of my favourite songs by the Beatles. beautifully played my hat goes off to you🥂 I came across you just before covid and realised I missed an eternity of guitar mastery. Still catching up on all the incredible musicality there is out there from you. I quite enjoyed global safari that unique news cast like rhythmic strum I couldn't get enough of. Regards a newer fan from a different generation.

Much about my life has been affected by Beatles music - many songs have moved me profoundly. Lately I've been on a sojourn of deep appreciation for Ray Davies of the Kinks - it's been heart-warming to see how he's been lionized of late as a foundational talent of the era. Just now, listening to Di Meola performing Eleanor Rigby, I was for the first time ever thunderstruck by the realization that the voice and idiom that McCartney wrote it in was VERY influenced by Davies - it could just as easily have been written and sung by him. Gives me shivers...

So good, and the emotion is on par with the Beatles, but with a Latin feel. Love it.

Whoa.

I worshipped Al since Romantic Warrior -- yep, I listened to it when it came out -- and tried my damndest to play like him. Never made that, but kind of lost touch with Al over the years after Cielo  et  Tierra. So I come back and find this . . . I was prepared to hate it but instead it sent fucking chills up and down my back . . .

Good job, Al. I see you haven't lost it after all these years.
