they are defnitely scary, any giant flesh eating animal is scary . However not all look badass/elegant . Feathered dinos are like that, scary but also looking ridiculous . Scaly Trex however has both, he's scary AND beautiful .

i know people will ignore this comment, if dinosaurs where alive, we will probably die, but if dinosaurs where never extinct since the begining, they would probably be normal animals, but today?, if we see something that was not extinct, we would be dead, i know i know dinosaurs fit better in horror movies, butt there is a difference between jurassic park dinos and real dinos, jurassic park makes monsters, not dinosaurs, but they dont exist, these real ones are just animals, i feel pretty bad for them, but they are also big and scary AF when you actually meet a real dinosaur that exists, the scariest part is... *they exist.*
