I sailed from Melbourne to Southhampton on the Ellinis in 1973. Great memories.

I was a passenger on the northbound 1968 voyage on Ellinis with my Dad and Grandmother. It was a wonderful experience, and the video and pictures bring it all back. I love the ship, it's a shame she's gone, but she gave long service, having been launched in 1932 as SS Lurline, and scrapped in 1987, RIP Ellinis, the beautiful lady.

I Came to Australia on the Ellinis, Southampton to Fremantle via the Suez in 1966. :)
