This was one of the best uses of Darth Vader honestly. They don't waste time exclaiming about his power or the dread he instills or how many Jedi he's killed. They don't even introduce him by name, they let the characters reactions do all of that.

The look of pure terror on trillas face when she feels his arrival is just incredible, the way he not only casually brushes cere aside the way one might brush away a fly, but then does the same to literally every attack Cal throws at him is perfect. He is vader and he IS that strong, Cal is nothing next to him.

This is one of the only few games that REALLY gave me the feeling of what it would feel like facing an unstoppable sith lord, like in most games I see you can beat him, vader here gives you the feeling of "I have no chance"

im so glad the game made you run away. if it ended with cal besting vader, that would’ve been some sequel bullshit right there. finally ea did something that we can all appreciate!

I think Cal by the end of the game, is shown to be strong with the force and a pretty strong Light Saber duelist. However, real masters or seasoned knights with battle experience are still obviously superior. And Vader is another level of course. Cal has much to learn of the force but he is well on his way. I think he is close to Ahsoka’s level would be during the clone wars maybe. Also, this is more evidence of how naturally strong Luke is during ROTJ in comparison. A few years of training and his dedication to learning all he can of the force at that point, and Luke stands toe to toe with Vader. (I don’t think Luke is as strong as Vader at this point, but strong enough to take advantage of the opportunities Vader gives him. If Vader had decided like had to die and was committed to that, I don’t think Luke would have made it. I think by the end of that fight though, and given just a little more time, Luke Definitively passes Vader, and is well on his way to surpassing Yoda and even Palpatine).

Wait.. Vader had the high ground for a moment in his entrance.. He finally accomplished the high ground, obi-wan would be proud.. Then he gave it up.
