Vader can sense the slightest shift of emotions in the general area. Trying to ambush him in close combat as living being is next to impossible.

The way how casually he just block it, and looks at you, i feel like you were not the first.

Vader is in a league of his own, but put respect on the fact that Rick the Door Engineer is still human but the only way Cal can beat him is with a backstab.

This one time I was sword fighting my 3 little brothers with larping swords. The oldest and youngest were in front of me and I could see in their eyes that they had something planned. I twirled my sword overhead and behind my back to build momentum as my two brothers rushed my front simultaneously. I felt my middle brothers sword connect with mine deflecting his back strike without seeing it and slashing at my other two brothers, in a single motion, nearly getting them; causing all three to back off. In that moment I was Darth Vader and they all realized that I wasn’t trapped in the circle with them, they were trapped with me.
