How do I measure that the remote device ( i.e the phone in this case, and an IP camera in my case ) is receiving 48v ?
I have a MultiMeter, but the network cable is a CAT6, so how do I measure - which pin in that CAT6 things like that .. will help.

I need an Ethernet for my desktop which doesn’t have wireless capabilities. Can I plug the Ethernet into a POE switch (as opposed to just plugging into the the router) for internet connection even when I don’t need any power?

Let's say I have 10 phones ( or 10 devices i.e a phone or an IP Camera) and they all need 48v, Will the switch have the ability to serve all the 10 devices with 48v power ?
That means the switch should have the ability to serve ( in this example ) 16, or 32 or more devices.
