I could watch videos like this for hours. The repairs I mean.

You look good with a short haircut. It makes you look tougher. That ‘don’t mess with me’ look. I line it 👍🏼

Great video as usual Chief It’s a testament to your leadership that complicated repairs are done in a timely fashion, unlike my auto mechanic who would have my car incapacitated for days and days

I don't sail, never ran a boat but enjoy the heck out of watching these. I am curious about working with international crews and languages.

Yes it’s time for a engineering fix, there is a lot in these videos about your leadership qualities Chief. A lot of lessons. Always appreciate it.

You know chief, I look at you, listen to you, I see my late uncle. You don't look like him, you don't sound like him. But I see a lot of him in you.
He was a chief engineer on merchant vessels for many years. I read so many of his books about electrical topics and learned much from those books.
My uncle was very skilled. Electrical, HVAC, you name it. He had lots of stories. Many trips to Viet Nam during the 60's and 70's.
It's like the ghost of my uncle on YouTube and you are nothing alike personally but almost like a twin professionally.
Best regards and good fortunes on your travels.

As a brand new deckhand in 70's I was on-boarded in Anacortes Washington onto Overseas Alice, an oil tanker bound for Alaska. The burly bosun ordered the crew to the forecastle for a meet & greet. There he lambasted us with "You son-of-bit*&*& better not f*&*-around, If you plan on not following orders, lets have it out here and now. I'll whip your ass up and down the floor. Anyone? Good, go stow your gear." Later on watch he encouraged me on the great life the SIU (Seafarer International Union) provided him; a new Ford Thunderbird, a couple of houses for him and his wonderful wife. But the tone had been set. And topped with the rollingest voyage I never could have imagined. The good part? The Alaska coast line was unreal.

love the extra pics, chief. Seeing you as boxing coach striking a pose, shows you're a man who knows you're doing it right. Kudos.

The last time i was inside a ship's engine room, i was probably 12 years old. Was a Greek tanker with a 7 cylinder main engine. I wish i had taken that career path, i never got married nor had children so i think seafaring could have been a good fit. I still love ships, especially the engine room. I'm a machinist by trade but have always loved n been fascinated by mechanical creations, currently busy making a five journal high pressure water blasting pump crankshaft n it's journal journal layout makes me think of a ship's main engine crank.

Great hands on video, Chief. The panks and sabotage is not right, and should be prosecuted. "Quickly and safely." I think you met safely and quickly...
