Loved this movie and this scene as a kid. Still enjoy it today as an adult. Reminds me of when all a computer needed to be to capture someone's imagination, was be a computer.

Most times when a computer is a villain, they have this cold, emotionless personality. But I really like how in Tron, the two main computer antagonists are totally human in their motivations and reactions.

The giant rotating head of the Master Control Program genuinely scared me as a kid. I just loved (and still love) this film. In my mind it has somewhat similar vibes as "Short circuit".

Only ever saw old trailers about it on disney movie vhs back in the day.
