We picture frame all our steps for a clean and sharp look, concealing the framing stringers with matching fascia. Will post a photo of the results in the comments!

try mitering the stringer fascia to the riser for no exposed edges at all looks much better

Looks great! It appears like the inner board is narrower - or is that just the camera angle? Also - I see that Trex boards always have the groove on each side, but I don't see a version where they have a groove on one side (for the fastener) and bullnosed on the other (for finished appearance). What am I missing here?

This is awful. What’s with the giant gaps in the decking? It doesn’t move THAT much. And why aren’t you mitering the risers into the stringer trim?
