Great video, very useful. I sorted the key points below. Thanks
1. Get enough sleep
2. Be neat and organized
3. Don't skip steps
4. Keep track of everything
5. Get familiar with your common mistakes
6. Always double check your work

additional tips: if you can't get enough sleep the night before an exam, don't sleep at all it will keep you focused in the morning but you'll be tired by the afternoon so if your test is in the morning, which is usually the case, this could work.

I was never able to get a full mark on all of my math tests despite how easy the questions are because of my careless mistakes, they've really put down my confidence when it comes down to math, especially with timed tests, even if I enjoy the subject thoroughly. It always feels like I have to pt 120% of my brain power to get them right or they WON'T be right because I know I'll make a careless mistake anyway. Here's to hoping I can finally get full marks on my stats and be as efficient as I want to be with solving questions!

Tip for anyone in physics: I came across this method on tumblr that really helps me when learning it's called the GUESS method. Identify the G(iven), then write a little question mark next to the U(known). Write down the E(quation) that has most of the variables available, then look back at notes and write thoroughly the S(teps), and finally you'll have a S(olution). My physics teacher personally gives me most of the points if she sees these steps on a quiz and she greatly appreciates it because then she is able to help me when I go and ask for help or clarification and it makes learning less stressful.

When it comes to knowing your common mistakes, I like to make a 3-5 checklist at the top of my tests or before certain questions. Otherwise I still end up doing things like forgetting to change calculator settings for certain questions or forgetting to conjugate things for my language courses etc.

Everything you said is so true. From the sleep thing, to the checking again your work.

I am a student mechanical engineering and I can honestly say that highlighting outcomes that you need to use furtheron in the problem saves a lot of time and your proffesor can also see easily if you made a mistake earlier on!

Nice video Sareena! Could you please do a video on dealing with burn out if you haven't? Lately, I've realised that there is a pattern. For the first few days of the week or week, I will be super motivated to be productive and do stuff, only to have it the next week or few days after feeling a loss of energy and exitement to do things!
