This is life’s greatest question. I hope to give you hope in this interview and perhaps comfort that there is good news.

This week on The Ed Mylett show my next guest is the awe-inspiring David Ditchfield.

Whether you are a person of faith, a person of science, or somewhere in between, every single one of us has wondered, “what will happen to me after I die?”

David Ditchfield was tragically dragged under a speeding train which left him in a critical fight for his life. While doctors fought to save him, David had a vivid near-death-experience and a rare glimpse of what happens to us when our lives are coming to an end.

In this interview, David describes his miraculous experience from start to finish in vivid details laying on a huge rock surrounded by beings (I believe angels ) as he gets a momentary glimpse at God.

My favorite part of the story is that it leaves mystery and leaves room for anybody of faith to continue to believe what they hold to be true… That’s the beautiful part of this conversation

As a Christian, it’s just reaffirmed many of the things that I believe to be true. Regardless of your religion, there is enough here to let you know that there is a God and not enough to get so specific that it would violate any religious traditions.

The only reason we get to hear this story is because David lived! He returned from the afterlife with unbelievable new talents, and a new perspective on his once, out-of-place life.

David is living proof that although our bodies may be finite, our spirit is eternal.

When I was a young boy I saw a multiple bright orbs in the shape of a person walk into my room, I had a feeling it was my father who died just after I was born. When I tell people this they think I'm mad, but I know what I saw, that's enough for me.

I died after giving birth to my daughter. I wish so badly I could comfort every human being on this earth who lost a loved one because my experience was one that was so tranquil. My experience with God was nothing short of amazing and truly we “are spiritual beings living a human existence”! We travel time in a blink of a eye, as you think it, you are there! Your loved ones are with the ones they love most, never at the scene of their death!

This is amazing. 2018 my daughter was murdered. They told me she was gone instantly. The horror of her feeling the pain and what she was thinking and how scared she was. It is a huge comfort to know she was surrounded by love and light. Thank you

My mom was talking to her deceased mom on her death bed.
I was there when she passed away and as she passed, I almost felt her spirit leave the room. I really cannot explain it..

My friend had a N.D.E. a few years ago, he described seeing past loved ones smiling at him on a bridge he couldn't pass but feeling as if he was floating not walking, no earthly problems, and extreme love! Ok, five years today I was buried alive in a cave in, the people around me were able to dig me free, it fifteen min or so. During that time I was not breathing and left my body. What I noticed about David was more of how he made me feel while watching and listening to him. I felt a state of warm calmness that soothed my sole simply by hearing the sound of his voice more then the content of his words.

This was an awesome interview. The peace & love of God radiates from his face & spirit as you said. My father always talked about death to us and said we shouldn't be afraid of it. He had a near death experience from a motorcycle accident he was in. My father died in July this year. He fought against death for a short time, I believe because he didn't want to leave his 4 children (always a worrier) but in his last moments I got the feeling that he knew he was going to a better place. I told him so and he couldn't speak back but I know he heard me. It is a great comfort to know that he will now be feeling that love and peace that David felt.
