It's all well and good telling yourself you can do something/anything, but if deep down you don't believe that is true, you'll never convince yourself that you can do something and aren't doomed to eternally fail at anything/everything. It's like trying to draw water from an empty well. If there is no water you can send the bucket down a million times, but all you'll ever get is dust and disappointment.

Easier said than done. He says temporary failure is the way you learn to succeed, meaning keep trying. In my case, my fear of failure comes from that exact persistence of constantly failing. I have failed at my most important goal on a daily basis for SEVEN years straight. While I am still trying at this particular goal, I am terrified of trying anything else new. From finding a new job ("I'm probably not good enough, I'll get fired" to playing sports ("I Suck, why even try")

I fear these things now in a job related way because I have been put down & rejected by employers in my past 3 jobs now I feel so down and unhappy that I don't even look for work any more cause I think that I am not good enough to even take on the most simple basic of jobs. V_V
