As the one who asked this question, I feel very grateful that you guys actually keep active communication with your audience. Thanks for all you guys do! Been getting out of bed at or before 5am pretty consistently. Trying to stay on the path. Thanks for the advice and clarity. I felt like I knew that the dichotomy was in there somewhere, but you still brought some new info to light for me. Thank you.

Edit: The part about doing things that make me feel fear resonated with me the most in this response.

This idea of balancing fear and finding virtue in it is in Aristotle, specifically, Nicomachean Ethics. That text has helped me out during tough times.

Hey echo and Jocko, I have an idea 💡! Some thing I would love is a compilation of Jocko closing out a podcast. Sometimes he does some that are right before the suporch, sometimes it’s at the very end closing out the podcast. Everything goes silent and Jocko is reading something he has prepared to be impactful and I’m taken back almost in a meditation. I breathe deep and I take in his words fully and deeply. Jocko is such a great speaker, and it hits me to the core. I know you both know those moments I’m talking about, so Echo, if you feel so inclined that would be something awesome for me and I’m sure hundreds of thousands of other people would enjoy it too. I’m going to keep getting after it either way, but if I had that piece to share, I think I could infect my whole village! Thanks guys I love everything you do.

How do you overcome the fear of success? I know what happens if I fail, but I am scared of what happens if I am successful it's the unknown.
I assume the same advice, face your fear, confront your anxiety regardless of the panic attacks.
You got good advice for some individuals, but it doesn't work for everyone.
