It's called no competition and the fact that high-end desktop CPU's is a niche of the overall CPU market.

I understand that you likes to use the Top of the Line One Grand Class EXTREME EDITION i7, The Pinnacle of Intel's Engineering for each generation, but I think you should try test the mainstream flagship (6700K, Whatever i7 broad well is, 4790K, and so on) because that's what peoples are buying off, and they are i7 so they are mostly unlocked in terms of features
