I agree that Mappa has not been snapping with hell's paradise on the same level as they did with others. It makes me think their priorities lie more with AOT and JJK s2 based on how good those two look. This is just what I think happens when you stretch animators like so long. With all these shows mappa taking like vinland and OPM.

Though I love all these manga getting anime, they really gotta chill out . Especially with that diabolical pay lol

I get what you're saying about Dark Continent... to an extent. I feel like Hell's Paradise borrows way more from the Chimera Ant arc than whatever Dark Continent would've been if we ever got to see it. Made in Abyss is the show that borrowed the most from the Dark Continent concept. It's more about the natural world and unknowable horror. The Tensen of Hell's Paradise are extremely human as plants go.
