I loved balut. My family were expecting me to hate it since I was raised in the US. But when I came to visit and tried it, I ended up eating three of them. Some salt and vinegar on it make it gooood.

In the Philippines, If street children approach you. Just give some food and say "Wala na, Wala na" so they wont bother you anymore, because if you give to one he will call all his/her friends to come along.

Just a simple advice when you eat barbeque in stick is a DON'T do shove the tip of the stick in your mouth because in that place that is very busy and some people are running or in a hurry they might bump or hit your arm accidentally and the tip of the bbq stick will stab your throat man...
