I once owned a JW bible. It was a pastiche of quotes from other translations. The "authors" selected phrasing that suited there purposes and constructed a fake translation. They also changed whole passages from what the original languages said to something else entirely because they don't want their "followers" to read a real copy of the bible.

Thank you for the topic, there are so many places in the NWT where the translation committee changed the word of God to hide the deity of Christ. It is tragic that they are misleading so many innocent people.

John 5:23 says, “that all should ‘HONOR’ the Son just as they 'HONOR" the Father. He who does not ‘HONOR’ the Son does not ‘HONOR’ the Father who sent Him.” A Synonyms for “Honor” is Tribute. A Synonyms for Tribute is Homage. A Synonyms for Homage is Adulation which means, Worship, Adoration, Idolization, Glorification, Exaltation, Praise, etc. All these words and Synonyms are intertwined, interconnected. If this is how we ‘Adulate’ the Father, then we must Worship, Adore, Idolize, Glorify, Exalt, and Praise our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Revelation 5:13 says, "And I heard “EVERY” created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and all the things in them, saying, 'To Him (The Father) who sits on the throne and to the Lamb (The Son) be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.'" Amen! Jehovah's Witnesses, if you're not Worshipping Jesus, you're not "Honoring" the Father who sent Him.
