I used to watch Timothy Gordon years ago but I began notice a contradiction between his behavior and language to Gospel. What a shame.

Thank you. It always struck me wrong on any insult of any ecclesiastical authority, but I did not know of that story from St. Paul in Acts

The standard as a follower of Christ is to speak evil of no one. And yes, there is a difference between discussing public sin or theological error in a respectful way, and insulting others.

Honestly I cant take anything Gordon says serious, after hearing his views on the 6th commandment. If you think it is normal that a married man thinks about the act 100 times a day (as long as it is with his wife) you have no idea about tradition

We should not speak evil about anyone. Timothy Gordon is also gossiping. There is a difference from questioning your leaders to talking evil and gossiping about them.

Dang, seems like we can all be jerks at any given moment. Jerkiness seems to be running rampant today. Where does my jerkiness become ok and the Pope’s not ok? I would think on my final exam, Jesus will judge our jerkiness as to us, not relative to the Pope. Jesus have mercy on us all for being jerks.

We are to follow Jesus’s and go against all false doctrines that are within the Catholic Church and many other denominations. The apostle Paul clearly wrote about this in his epistles.

Father Jim Blount says we are called to be obedient. Because we may disagree with some of the things he says, he’s still the pope and talking bad about him is not in alignment with our faith.
