One year ago I was awaiting major surgery because of a brain tumor. Fear tried to grab a hold of me, however… “the Lord is my shield and Buckler… His Name is a High Tower… all things work together for the good of those who love Him… “ many comforting passages of Scripture flooded my inner most parts as I prayed and read the Bible, and He gave me a peace that transcends all understanding. As the surgeons prepared and I lay there on that cold steel table, my heart rate was low, there was a rest and a peace that even surprised the doctors… now a year later, the trial has been passed and it is well with my soul. Know the Scriptures ! Know your Lord ! For He is a kind and gentle Father Shepherd who holds the hand of His Children in the terrors of life.
