If You Always Wake Up Between 3 - 5AM, Here's Why

Показать описание
Do you often wake up between 3 and 5 am? If so, you’ll probably feel tired the next day and then the same happens the next days. Getting a good night's sleep plays a major role in our daily performance and mood. The complicated thing is that these situations can turn into cycles easily, and have a huge, negative impact on your performance and mood. To avoid getting stuck in one of these cycles, or help you break the cycle, let's look at why you might be waking up at 3-5 AM every day.

This woman could help a lot of people go to sleep by doing ASMR videos because she has the perfect soothing and peaceful voice for it. 😊😴

My schedule is based around waking up at 4 a.m so even on my off days I'm up at 5 a.m latest. Or 3 a.m on the early side. It's honestly nice in terms of waking up to workout or just be up and alone for a few before interacting with the world. I've found I enjoy it. Now I need to go to bed much earlier and it definitely took a long time to adjust to but I love it now!

Personally my problem didn't start until menopause. I used to sleep like a log. I've tried all these things mentioned, so I pretty much think hormones are to blame. Tons of women I've talked to say the same thing. Never getting the same good sleep they had pre-menopause. I have a very physical and demanding job and it is very hard to function with 6 hours of sleep for me. I literally always feel tired.🥺

When I was in 5th grade I asked my grandma about why I keep waking up at 3AM and she ended up telling me that's cause demons were staring at me at night. Safe to say that didn't help at all.

Yes, I commonly wake up at 4am. But I have a wonderfully rested feeling and use it for quality quiet time, usually doing something mentally productive, and then go back to sleep at about 6am to 8am. This is called "sleep splitting". It's not for everyone, but it works great for me once I realized that I can - and should - just allow myself to go back to sleep again after a couple of hours.

My best relief was to before bed time write down all things that were stressing/bothering me (even the small things), and also have some pen and paper by bedisde so that I could write down any thoughts that were rolling around in my head. I never believed it could have been so effective, literally the next night I already slept so much better.

I've always been a two session sleeper. Waking up in the middle of the night, then going back to sleep after pottering about for a bit. I read somewhere that this was a common feature of life in the middle ages.

I’m seventy two. I exercise, walk and eat well. I don’t smoke or drink. I go to bed at 10 pm and I fall asleep almost instantly, but wake up any time between 2 am to 4 am. It may be a full bladder coupled with thirst, or just no reason at all. If I wake up at 4 am or later, I consider myself lucky. I suppose that my experience is not necessarily unique.
