Whatever you do... do NOT sell or deconstruct your purple gear mods. In many cases they end up being stronger then the High-End gear mods and they allow you to build a more specialized build. Other than going over that, this video will dive into the gear modding system.

Marco's content is just superb compared to the rest of The Division channels. This past few days, all i see from these channels are like Top 5, 10, 30, Bazillion Tips and Tricks, how to get mask, etc. I understand these channels from a content creator stand. But Marco is just on a different tier.

The purple gear in my eyes is made for Recalibration into the High end gear. if you have a high stat roll on a purple piece you recalibrate that into a high end piece. They did this to make every piece of gear that drops relevant.

I don't think the developers have any idea how important you are to the division community. Your grinding and figuring the little things out for us makes it so the average player doesn't feel overwhelmed trying to figure this stuff out. It's not like there's an instruction manual explaining all the little things and how they work. I for one appreciate it. Thank you

Old division 1 trick, put your mods on the gear pieces, and save the gear piece to stash 🤣

The devs stated that purples roll stats can roll higher then high ends and they are primarily used for recalibration.

It is also very important to note that more stats means more Electronics/Stamina/Firearms (the little icons) which are required to activate certain talents. its not always a straight disadvantage if you need to activate a talent.

bought the game because I got so tired of Anthem, within the first 2 hours I found myself loving this game SO MUCH. never paid attention to the division 1 because it looked complicated. But now here I am happily grinding out and loving it because I get rewarded so well.
