I played the whole D1 without really understanding gear sets, so for you to do this for new players is much appreciated.

New players, if you don’t know the difference between the brand sets and gear sets, the brand sets are the high end gear (I.e. yellow) and the gear sets are the teal gear. I didn’t hear gameydaddy distinguish between the two, so if you didn’t know, there’s the information. Played with a new player in a legendary mission yesterday and he didn’t know the difference.

This is good info. I'm currently pushing a skill build with a 4pc hardwired, AR with in-sync, 4-5 skill tier (build is still in progress as not much is max rolled yet)

The build is rounded out with a max rolled rifle running perpetuation, a Zero Fs chest piece with max armor and perpetuation, backpack running bloodsucker.

I'm basically setting myself up for the turret and drone to do most of the work if I'm solo, I can cover my own ass if enemies get behind me, and my skills are boosted and my armor is boosted allowing me to tank if I'm grouped with the right kind of players. It's an all around sort of build and I love how it plays. Even on higher difficulty.

Still have to find a brand set backpack that I like and max roll my other stuff but I'm pretty new into WT5 still so I'll be building my library as fast as I can.

After over 700 hours I still don't fully understand gear sets, I notice my armour is much higher than his at 1.8M. That might be why I survive so well. What is so annoying about all this is a player is nothing with out a good gear set, and will get cut down in seconds in combat. The game should really give players default sets to start with, to make things easier.

Thanks now I have a better understanding of how put gear together

There are not a lot of new players I’ve just come across most who just don’t know how to build. Majority are older players who don’t want to take the time to learn.

Here's a example, let's say you want a hybrid build and all your gear is set for damage, I in your position using true patriot as a example would roll the basic tier to tanking and get 2 badger tuff. There in this example you have all your damage from your stats and perks from your armor, and you also get tankyness from your tier and also from your mods if you desire to mod it that manner.

I’m new to division 2. If I find a new piece of gear should I equip it only if my health or armor go up ? Because there’s a lot of information to look at and I don’t really know what’s important for low level players

I know some people that use all the same set for style purposes because the mix match gear bothers them

What are the six icons underneath the level circle? Do you have a video on that? Thank you!

I got tripped up so many times by outdated info on websites and videos. I came from Grim Dawn which has a site (grimtools dot com) that you can find out a ton of info about the core game/gear and where to get it. So useful. I can immediately see where and how to get a specific item and how likely I am to get it (including resistances/damage etc).

Even trying to get basic info without having the game loaded up can be a pain. I was trying to work out overcharge damage the other day for a striker drone but couldn't find it anywhere. It's only one small example, but this has happened to me a bunch of times trying to work stuff out when AFK.

hey! All info i have ever found is about the end game armor stuff but i want to know, while leveling up in the game. Can you tell me this one thing that i i fail to find info about?

some armor brands always boost a specific weapon's bonus; say D&H brand always boost pistols :" 15% something for pistol damage" and the armor set's second bonus is " 15% stability" and third bonus is "15% accuracy" so, are the second and third bonuses are for the pistol's accuracy and stability? or for all weapons?
