If the video's fix does not work for people: try simply BLOWING INTO YOUR MOUSE WHEEL. This worked almost instantly for me, my issue had nothing to do with the software. Nintendo taught me everything I need to know about life.

I was about to go get a new mouse but then I read on the comments that blowing into the mouse wheel actually works, so I did it and the thing instantly came back to life, what a world.

the blowing worked for me...im so happy...as a 3d designer i need to keep mmb pressing in order to analyse model from all sides...i didnt wanted to spend money now....so i tried blow without hope...and found no movement in 3d model....after continues trying suddenly the model moved....we lived happily ever after

Guys the blowing trick actually works. If you really want to go in-depth then you need to unassemble your mouse and clean it from the inside. In my case, it was nothing to do with software.

Never knew blowing into a mouse wheel could spark such joy into me ;)

The mouse wheel is wind powered. Once a year or so you need to recharge it with 2 to 3 decisive blows directly into the mouse wheel, then it works again

The video didnt help, 99% Of the comments are saying that blowing into the mouse wheel fixes it. *WHICH IT FRICKING DOESNT* and one comment said trying the mouse test. *WHICH DOESNT WORK* there was only ONE comment i saw (other then mine) who said blowing into your mouse doesnt work.
