I love Honky's shoots, although i despised him as a young WWF fan. He played the Heel so well and i cannot think of 1 person that liked him when he had the IC belt.
I smile every time he says "Mack-Mann". I wish i had known him as a teenager based on what i know of him today. I would have cheered him big-time, even if i was cheering alone. This dude is the real deal and a hardened road warrior. We all knew of his success in the WWF but truly amazing how much this man lives and breathes wrestling. He earned his shot, and now in hindsight wish his ride at the top would have been longer.

Remember that most of these guys who didn't have the cartoon muscles still would have been on the gear to help with recovery and injuries due to the schedule.

When I was 14 a Portland wrestler came through the gas station I worked at and we got to talking, I mentioned how at the time I loved wrestling and wish I could get the proper body for it(this was in the mid 80’s) he recommended me to start taking steroids at 14 years old, I was a amateur wrestler and in great shape but I was 6’ 2” and 145 lbs. needless to say I never found any steroids even if I had I couldn’t afford them anyway.
