We're going back to the Rhythm and Blues days when Hammer had black hair! Find out what his old tag team partner Honky Tonk Man was like behind the scenes of the WWF.

Vince McMahon had originally slated Valentine & Honky to became Tag Team Champions but changed course when he signed the Road Warriors in 1990.

Hear what Greg thought about the team at first and why he refused to dye his hair for so long! Also, how Jesse Ventura and Jimmy Hart finally got Valentine to change his mind.

Finally, we talk about the Wrestlemania V match in Atlantic City vs the Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart).

Greg is such a chill man. I would like to have a drink with him and listen to his stories for hours

These interviews have made me really respect and appreciate Greg Valentine. The fact that he’s an Elvis fan is icing on the cake.

Always good to see an old school wrestler who isn't broken mentally or physically or financially. Looks like Greg Valentine has beaten the odds. Good for him!

When I was 11 or 12, I went to a wwf show at Glens Falls civic center in upstate New York. Was like 1988 or 89. We were waiting out front and a cab pulled up next to us and out came Greg Valentine. My friend and I couldn’t believe a huge star like The Hammer would be riding in an old beat up cab. We were star struck and he playfully growled at us in full heel fashion. It’s a great memory.

Greg is a masterclass in how finding ways of making others shine can make you look that much better. He seems to be legit about his perception of others too. I’m sure He realizes in his line of work, you never want to leave a bridge burned… because you don’t know where your next paycheck will come from.

Greg’s a class act, I’ve never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. He’s a bit different than I expected, he’s always been one of the guys that made wrestling believable.

I appreciate that Gregg took pleasure in the rhythm and blues role and even expanded on it.

Never did like Rythem and Blues but LOVED Valentine pre Wrestlemania 1. Loved the fued with Santana. He also has great matches with Steamboat. And the Feud with Ronnie Garvin. I still have that match on VHS tape from recording it, watching that Royal Rumble. Amazing worker and an even better person. God bless him.
