True story last night my dad picked me up at New Orleans Airport with no gas we was both broke an we had to beg for gas money in the hood at 11 pm. It was scary but respect is key in every place. We ended up making it back home in MS. We begged our way from 0 in the tank to enough to get us 100 miles. Don't always assume everyone in the hood is bad

Anyone whose traveled to cities like Jackson, Baton Rouge, Memphis, Birmingham, St Louis, Baltimore, Cleveland, Detroit, New Orleans, Little Rock, etc. know how depressing it is within these cities. If You grew up black and poor in these cities AND MADE IT OUT AND BECAME SUCCESSFUL? AND ESCAPED? Round of applause. You deserve it!

You should do a swamp stories on Flint Michigan. I’m a social worker in Flint so I see the hardships of people every day. All the automotive factories left back in the 80s and no other industry came to replace them. There are a lot of good people in Flint that are just stuck in a bad situation

I'm from inkster 20 min outside detroit and to see all this going down in detroit let's me know I'm old as hell and glad I stay in my lane. I would like you to see if you can do a future episode on flint. I believe the city deserves a episode, also Memphis. Jacksonville fl. And Miami Florida. I grew up in Baltimore MD and it’s like a third world country. One time I witnessed 2 shootings on different streets within 15 minutes on a walk with homies to smoke a blunt. Another time there was a triple shooting AT A JAIL because someone stepped on someone shoes outside the jail
