I have hypothyroid. Adrenal insufficiency. I also have no ovaries....yet no Endo has suggestted calcium supplements...to protect my bones.
Al - on hydrocortisone for life.
Have asthma on inhaled steroids..

What about DHEA ?
As with no Adrenal function we cant produce DHEA.?

With Adrenal insufficiency. Zero cortisol production.

Can my body still produce Adrenaline???

I love this podcast! I have watched your videos on different systems and processes for the last year and a half while in nursing school but this is my first time watching a podcast. Very thorough and funny! What led me to leave a comment is to say I'm from San Antonio, Texas and I want to hear that accent from Mike! I heard Matt say ya'll 🤣 Secondly, I am a visual learner, and I feel that I am only doing as well as I am in nursing school because of the way you break it down with analogies and visuals. I mostly love when you say, "ok let me put this and reiterate it in a way for my slow brain to understand, " that is exactly my problem.... and when you do that, I understand everything so clearly. Thank you!!

Happy there are actually other Australians out there with a similar viewpoint on nuclear power generation (alright I recall reading papers to the effect that the cost benefit for Aus doesn't pass the pub test, compared to need and the construction costs of renewables generation, so my point is probs moot). Potential weaponisation of the plant through threats could be mitigated by identifying our agressors or potental agressors, I can think of one. Then identifying what they want from us assets wise, I can think of some, and building the plant next to said asset. But then anyway it becomes apparent the inflated costs to construct a remote plant such as this, its security (for the arbitrarily spiteful agressors) and the hv transmission costs (low whistle).
