Is LastPass safe to use?
Despite the above scandal, this service does use military-grade encryption to make sure your vault is locked down! The only way to unlock your vault is with your master password, which LastPass doesn’t “have” in the real sense of the word!

Is LastPass trustworthy?
In short, LastPass is a trustworthy and reputable company, having fixed most of the security flaws within their product. If you use the service well, create secure passwords, don't reuse passwords, and follow all the best practices when creating your passwords you should be in the green!

Sadly the free edition is no longer multi-platform. A pretty major change in their free offering, making this video a bit of a risk, if people make a decision based on it.

I use LP nearly from launch, long time as premium. I complain for some bugs (functional, as far as I can tell not security) which weren't fixed nearly for the time I use it. I'm again on the way with LP support for months without result. We're turning in circles as I describe the problem again and again but support ignores and offers no investigation. It's only about: "look, here's the description how it works" and that's it. As good as the tool may be, don't expect a competent support or fixing of bugs. There seems no support behind first level... so mad.... I think about moving to another tool, because i would like to rely on proper service for a critical business like this one...
