About The Nanny:
Fran Drescher stars as Fran Fine, a street-smart young woman with a face out of Vogue and a voice out of Queens who stumbles onto the opportunity to become nanny to the children of a wealthy widower, Maxwell Sheffield. Soon Fran, with her offbeat nurturing and no-nonsense honesty, touches Maxwell as well as the kids.

Her style was very 90s meets 60s, it was a lot of miniskirts or mod dresses under blazers layered over turtlenecks with tights and heels or go go boots. She also had the traditional 90s style with blouses tucked into high waisted jeans.

In Season 3, Episode 14, 'Fashion Show', we discover how Fran can "afford" to wear $1000 outfits on a nanny's salary. It's b/c a relative of hers is a top designer for a NYC fashion house, and a costume supplier to Broadway. He hands-down everything he can to her, such that many of her wardrobe items have been previously worn by someone famous.
