The summer this album came out I used work with my best friend in a local restaurant. We lived in his parents studio apartment. I was always a night owl and when he would go to bed I would sit at my computer in the kitchen with headphones on listening to these songs, this album on repeat well into the night. He passed away earlier this year. I miss you Andrew! When I listen to this album at night I picture you sleeping in the next room peacefully.

This album came out right after my divorce was finalized (got married young the first time, but getting divorced after 8 years together was heartbreaking to me). We shared a love for Coldplay and had been to concerts together. I remember when this album was coming out being worried if I was going to have negative impact, like if I was going to lose my love for them that it would only remind me of my failed marriage. It was the opposite. I can listen to this album from start to finish, and even though it came out at such a low point in my life, I have only positive emotions when I hear it. To me, I was going through a turning point in my life, and I felt like I noticed a change in Coldplay's sound also. It is and will always be my favorite album of theirs for that reason.

0:10 and 39:56 - creates a loop where this album repeats seamlessly.
This album honestly changed my life, and reminds me of a person and a time where I was at my happiest. Thank you, Josh. I miss you.

This is one album I can listen to front to back with no skips. It’s just perfect and has a certain flow to it.

This band is exceptional... I don't listen to them that often but every now and then I find myself listening to them and as I age I appreciate them more and more.

June 2008 - beautiful times spent with this album. It's like a movie full of different colours in each song like world music, Japan, China, middle East. Their magnum opus

Ooh, this album's so nostalgic for me. Parachutes was the first album I listened to but this one I replayed so much.

Personal Pet Peeve: "I miss them sounding like this." Well it's a good thing they recorded it then. Here to say I love Coldplay and their evolution from "Parachutes" to "Music of the Spheres". Change is growth. Music is art, and the art changes with the artist. No one is the same person they were 20 years ago.
