Listening from a hot and muggy place in Australia. I could only wish to see what soft snow looks like with my real eyes.

Am 50 yrs old and i've been listening to this kind of music since almost 35 yrs, it never failed to give me the feeling that am floating in the sky, in a magical sky of a magical world.
My friends and family never understood why i like this music, i never found the appropriate words to explain, i never explained it actually.
Edit: one of the most magical and memorable moments of my life was when i watched "swan lake" ballet in the Opera house.

This is almost everything to me right now. The only way it could be any sweeter is if the person reading this comment is also having an amazing day!

28 years old and have been listening to mainstream music all my life. Yesterday i came across Tchaikovsky and have been hooked on classical music since. I feel like I can accomplish anything and have had a productive day so far. The tasks I have been procrastinating I'm actually doing.

I swear the comments on classical music vids make me so happy. Everyone is freed from bias and disagreement, and comes together just to enjoy something beautiful.

I feel just as that horse, alone and waiting of what’s to come ahead. Lost my daughter, wife and my once loved possessions. All I got is the smiles I get to see from my patients. I have always been grateful for all I’ve had and happy for the premise of the future smiles I will see.

Just to clarify: the very first track in this playlist is actually a tribute to Tchaikovsky by the Russian composer Anton Arensky, who wrote this as a variation on a theme by Tchaikovsky (so yes, this is technically Tchaikovsky, as we hear his melody, but you should mention who actually wrote this arrangement).

I am writing this, because I love this music and searched for Tchaikovsky’s “Elegy for String Orchestra in G major” but he wrote an Elegy in G major for string orchestra (the same title), which is a different piece than we hear in this playlist, so I hope this helps 😊

Anyways, great playlist!

It seems to me that Russian composers have a different kind of depth to their music - not to say that it makes it better than say the great German composers - but there is something uniquely fascinating about it. Same goes for Russian culture and mentality in general, I think.

With music like this coming out of the Russian culture and people we could use a little more cultural influence by them right now. Beautiful.

Relaxing and thought-provoking..
I think music should be played constantly in some institutions.
This includes government institutions.
