2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 Preferred | POV Review

The IONIQ 6 is still one of the best EV's that money can buy. The IONIQ 6 competes with the Tesla Model 3 and the PoleStar 2.

I loved the IONIQ 6 so much last year that I had to take it again this year. This year I got to check out the entry level spec to see if its worth going for an ultimate upgrade or not. For 2024 there are no changes to the IONIQ 6. The outside still looks like nothing else on the market right now even though I would prefer the looks of the rims on the ultimate package. I was surprised to see that the the trunk stayed automatic opening and closing despite us having a base model this week.

The inside is also the same as last year but this time around instead of leather I have cloth seats. We also lose the ventilated seats, sunroof, ambient lighting, 360 camera and more for those you will need to spend extra on an ultimate package. So the question is do you NEED the ultimate package and the answer is no none of that stuff matters if you just want an EV that looks good and has really good range (500KM). Hyundai have done it again and offered us something really well equipped and pretty affordable.

Great review and EV. I got the Ioniq 6 SEL AWD and I love it. It’s fast, a great drive, new tech, low maintenance, and different from all the teslas on the road

Good video! I love the Ioniq 6 and wanted a Limited, but we got a Kia EV6 GT instead. I wish there was an N version of the Ioniq 6.

Technically, you should sort out your sound.

I was considering Hyundai, but my local Hyundai dealer tried to tack on over $3k of 'misc fees' (above and beyond your standard delivery/fees) and told me they were 'mandatory' and wouldn't budge. They also offered me $3k less for my trade in (Elantra) than Tesla did...Hyundai knows best about the quality of their vehicles I guess lol. The price for equivalent specs between the I6 and M3 is close, except you can get AWD on the M3 for the same price as the I6 RWD. That plus the $6k difference in trade in and 'fees', well, needless to say I'm looking forward to my new M3 AWD LR.
