A Function f is periodic if there exist a positive real number t such that f(s + t) = f(s) for all s in the domain of f, the smallest number t is periodic is called the period of f. The function f is even if f(-q) = f(q) for all q in the domain of f and a function f is odd if f(-q) = -f(q) for all q in the domain of f.
