Ichigo's Horn of Salvation EXPLAINED | BLEACH Breakdown

In this video I discuss how Ichigo uses his hollow powers now that he has activated all aspects of his powers. The Horn of Salvation was a mysterious form that left as quickly as it came. He uses it against Juha Bach, while he is in his bankai form. Ichigo explains that he can disrupt the balance of his powers and tip it towards his hollow side, which results in the Horn of Salvation form. In this video I explain how Ichigo was able to achieve this form, and the future potential for its use.

I think Ichigo explained it himself. He said he'd like to use his powers as he pleases but at the moment, since he just reforged Zangetsu, he could only wake one side up by disrupting it with the other. So now that 10 years have passed, I imagine in hell arc, he can activate both sides powers at once or just use whatever he thinks is needed. Hollow for offense, Quincy for defense, etc

During answering questions Kubo confirmed that Ichigo had the potential to learn resurrection and use it with bankai so i like to theories that with more training his horn of salvation could evolve into a resurrection

Hopefully in the anime we get more of this form. It would be cool to see Hollow Ichigo play a role in Horn of Salvation. Seeing them work together in sync would be sick as Hell.

I believe we will certainly get more clarity in the hell arc regarding Ichigo's forms in that final clash with Yhwach. Still it was great to see Ichigo reassure Orihime that he is still Ichigo, a sharp contrast to when he went all out and berserk in Hueco Mundo. Yhwach's admiration for Ichigo's power certainly stems from his obsession with powermongering and perhaps saw a waste in Ichigo not using it as he did in subjugation and destruction.

I think that there’s more to what ywhach said about Ichigo’s true bankai to be horrifying! He just destroyed it in the every future means it was more than horrifying to say the least there might have been a possibility that in any of the future Ichigo with his sheer determination to win at all cost, actually won against Ywach, so he couldn’t take any risk and broke it

I could see in the anime they show Ichigo beating Ywach with his bankai, all for it to be the future Ywach saw. This keeps Ywach destroying Ichigo’s bankai, while also showing off his bankai. It doesn’t retcon anything, it just shows the audience what Ywach saw.

I kind of wished during that form he would finally attack somewhat differently and similar to hollow Ichigo which could have affected Bach’s future sight somehow or like Hollow Ichigo would physically manifest as an extension of their will’s combined cause that would have been as awesome fight and a call back to Zanpakuto rebellion filler arc

Ichigo is slowly becoming a more and more complete and adaptable form. Thats why Juuha bach was threatened by ichigos “potential “. He knows that ichigo doesn’t grow his power like aizen but through battle just like all of his other battles.

I have a loose hope that they will let Kubo express what he really wanted to do in the manga (without being rushed) in the anime.

Rushing Kubo really did do this scene dirty. The fleshing out of fights that Bleach had demonstrated in the past were forced to really be put aside for all the fights at the end of this arc. Seeing Ichigo push his quincy powers out using the same method would have been a great thing to see during this fight as he swings back and forth between the two like a pendulum. Hollow power is very toxic to quincies so I don't see him using quincy powers against the king of quincies. But I want to see more of it in the Hell arc.

I hope to see more of the Horns of Salvation form, because it took years for the build up of Ichigo's powers to be finished in 4 manga pages. Really hope the anime does justice to it!

My dream scenario is when the anime gets here, we get an entire episode of true form bankai Ichigo just tearing Yhwach apart - we get an explanation of what the bankai actually does, and see just why it's so much of a threat - for it to turn out at the start of the next episode that the previous one was just what Yhwach saw in the future, as he uses Almighty to cut off that future and break the bankai.
