Did you get a new 50" or 52" led light bar for Christmas? Is is noisy as F*&^? Most likely. This How To video will show you How to get rid of the light bar noise that its making. Before adding this trim the light bar soured like a 747 getting ready for takeoff. Anything above 35 mph was just completely obnoxious and now its much better.

We have installed a Auxbeam 52" on our rig. This is a GREAT light bar and we will have a full review and install video coming shortly. Heres a link for the bar:

Man, thank you for making this video. I installed my light bar, and then messed around with this new aftermarket radio I installed. My girlfriend and I went down the road and this humming sound kept getting louder and louder, I thought I screwed something up in the radio, haha. I stopped and checked all around the truck, checked my connections on the radio. Seriously getting beyond frustrated, haha. Thanks again for making this video.

You'll get better results if you just do every other fin, and not every fin. What you're trying to do is interrupt the flow of air over the fins and by alternating which fins you put the door trim on you'll significantly interrupt the flow and greatly reduce any chance of noise at any speed. I've got some 10 inch strips on either end and in the middle, and only did about four fins and completely stopped any noise at any speed.

If you angle your light bar down a bit it will stop it from making that noise and not having to put anything on that back of it

Can I put a 50 inch light bar / brackets on a 2012 jeep wrangler unlimited sport? Just so it wont have the gap from a 52 inch brackets on top.

Don't know if someone already commnted on this or not (too lazy to scroll through all the comments, LOL) but was wondering if you guys considered this? Those fins are on the light bar for heat dissapation since those light bars get very hot, aren't you concerned with blocking them up with weather stripping? I know you only did a small section, but still, they are on there for a pupose and you wouldn't want to cause that thing to overheat, maybe causing a fire over time? What are your thoughts on that?

All you have to do is put some black door trim on every other Finn and it will stop the noise 100%

I tried what you did and it didn't work. I tried every other one and still nothing. I have them on all them now and the thing still makes a massive sound. I think I'm going to take mine off.

To jeeps but can't you just tilt the angle down slightly and change the airflow yet still retain down road lighting?
