$6 LED Light Bar Noise Fix EASY & CHEAP

Very easy and cheap way to stop LED light bar noise.

2004 Silverado 2500HD with Auxbeam 52" curved LED light bar.

I had one on a truck that was totalled. Before losing it, I had a friend that was a Lt.Col.test pilot at Edwards AFB. He listened to it, looked at it, and took some rubber grommets from a HF assortment kit..He only placed them between the bottom fin and the housing, and it stopped. How or why he believed it was coming from that most inferior fin, I don't know. But, his expertise in aerodynamics was greater than mine.😊

that's why carpenters fill there ladder runners with expanding foam so they don't whistle going down the road same on the cell phone antennas back in the 90s i used to put a piece of heat shrink over them. just shrunk the top end and it stopped it from the wind noise

I used clear silicone about every 6-8 inches on each roll, works great no more whistling 3 yrs and counting

How bad is your hood glare with that setup? I have a 54 straight with homemade mounts and the glare is blinding.

I used the automotive door edge guard from Advance Auto on mine but that is a less expensive trick, mine whistled horribly
