How to Join Your Quilt Binding Ends

My mom, Susan, doing a demo on joining your two quilt binding ends. This technique was originally shown on Alex Anderson's Simply Quilts TV program. This technique allows you to join your quilt binding with a diagonal seam and for it to lay flat against your quilt top without any puckering or bubbles. I’m so glad I found this video! I finish my binding like you did here but I sometimes have just a little “bubble” as you put it. It seems so simple to just cut just about an 1/8 of an inch less so the bias lays flat every time. Thank you!
