We never thought that we would have to go through that, but that is something that is a part of life. So I feel like that we all have these obscure obstacles that are put in front of us, but we have to continue to strive because it is never going to slow us down. Does that make sense. My coworker texted me tonight, just as I was sobbing again (every night lol) about the love of my life Chris who died of pancreatic cancer April 21st. My coworker tonight told me that her mother-in-law is actively dying right now in hospice, and shared this song with me right after I told her that "the wait is a very spiritual, holy place"--speaking from my own experience guiding Chris through the hospice experience to the other side. And then I watched this, and fresh sobs flowed, but this song is a cleansing balm. It's now part of my healing process, part of the sacred space. For anyone who is enduring the hospice Wait, I am praying tonight, and Sevendust, thank you for this song, in that light. Thank you for sharing this performance with the grieved and grieving, and those waiting sacredly.

This song has been on repeat….my younger brother passed away last week unexpectedly. We’ve seen Sevendust basically every time they’ve come to Louisiana since we’ve been old enough to get in venues. I never thought I’d relate this song to him. I love you Ryan.

Lajon is so kind I was the crazy punkrock girl that was self destructing would be almost past complete out on the side walk or at the bar and he would always sit with me and make sure I was ok and made sure no one messed with me he would not leave inside untill he knew I was somewhere safe or that someone we both trusted took care of me .a truly good man I think of him and what he did for me often and this happened a few times

My dad was a huge Sevendust fan. I happened to come across them on a Pandora station way back in the early days of smartphones and loved them so much and shared them with my dad. He passed away about 3 years ago and it truly never doesn’t go away. I love the way these guys write music, it’s so relatable and true. And the way they do acoustic versions is so well done as are the original heavier versions. These guys deserve more respect for the music they create.

Sevendust has been in the background of my life since the early 90's. From my early years, all night ragers, then my wedding night, then rocking my infant kids to sleep, Jammin soccer trips, Jammin gymnastics trips, Jammin karate trips, numerous live concerts with friends and now with my adult kids. Blessed to be a fan of these guys.
