Love Sevendust. They are still going strong after a 20+ year career. I own every album and have seen them live numerous times. They always bring it! In fact I am going to see them again in about a week.

One of the most underrated bands of all time. They can get as heavy as anyone and also break out acoustic stuff. Probably my favorite band of all time. Only one turd of an album their whole career (Hope and Sorrow). Everything else is gold.

When my son was in high school and still at home, SevenDust was one of his favorite groups. I've always been into music, so anything interesting that I heard something from his room, I'd sample. I don't know, maybe listening to fresh music keeps you young. I'd like to think that. When I was 51, one of his friends came over and he had to walk past my study to get to my son's room. I was listening to music on headphones, loudly enough that he could hear that I was jamming to SevenDust. The next day my son mentioned that his friend said, "Hey, your dad acts like a teenager sometimes." My response was, "I have temporal dyslexia. I'm actually 15 this year."

I remember these guys being a local band back in the day and playing the locals only stage at Music Midtown etc... they were great then and still great now. So glad you finally got to hear them and dig their sound.

I'm a huge Sevendust fan. Love love love this reaction. They have crazy awesome passion live. All their albums are great, but my favorites are Animosity, Alpha, and Kill The Flaw. Highly recommend anything from those albums.
