As a black male due to start my job as an anesthesiologist in a few months, I have to say to the younglings here (especially my minority brothers and sisters), please keep studying. It definitely does get better.
Every step through the way comes with its own challenges. Please remember that you're not the first to go through them; so always reach out to someone who has gone through the same experience.

She has 3 kids, a tesla, and shes an anesthesiologist. Thats my dream, shes very independent having to wake up early with such a hard job. Best of luck to her.

I see you had two children while you were in Med School and one after you became an anesthesiologist ! Congrats ! Our 8th child, has become an anesthesiologist this month, May 2022. The first physician in our family from a long line of RNs .
