this worked for me, it's my first time playing doom and i love it! i use the circle pad for movement and strafing, L to sprint, R to fire, ZL/ZR to switch weapons, Y to use and the touchscreen for turning left and right. for anyone else getting doom on their 3ds, i highly recommend this control setup (except maybe not on the og 2ds?)

How come yours has a menu when it boots?

You don't need the 3dsx file in the prboom folder as ir is just another way to install the game, like the cia file.
