FreeStyle Libre 3 is a real CGM (just like Dexcom). A lot cheaper, 70% smaller, and loaded with technology. This is a complete game changer!

FreeStyle Libre 3 received CE mark at the end of September 2020 and will be available in European countries in the coming months. Clinical trial in the US ends in December 2020, FDA clearance and Libre 3 launch in the US expected in 2021.

Wow . . up to V3. In Australia were still on V1 with all sorts of problems, haven't even heard of version 2 until today thanks to you. I hope V3 is much better than the original and that we get them here soon.

Unfortunately us U.K. dinosaurs are still stuck at Libre 1 and I’m not moaning btw. It has been a game changer for many people. I currently self finance buying privately from other diabetics (Abbott charge £60 per sensor, I get them for £40) so I cannot imagine how much Abbott would sell the 2nd/3rd version for here in the U.K. I’m guessing it would be unaffordable to most people if they were self financing. I got around that by purchasing a MiaoMiao 2 which I use sporadically when Im being a little lazy with scanning! Tom, yet another excellent vid! Thx.

Wow - and I was excited by getting the Version 2! Thanks for the video and your channel. Excellent news especially as I'm about to get the Tandem after three medtronic ones. After starting with a tablet you put in a test tube to find out what your sugar was the day BEFORE! Libre really has changed my life.

Hope it sticks better. My sons kept falling off, until he ordered a box of skin tac, which has been spectacular. It now stays on for the 14 days.

well i cant find any info on the libre 2 being in the uk yet so i doubt we will get it or even hear about the libre 3

Awesome! In Brazil, we still don't have version 2, but I hope that the upgrade would be from libre 1 to 3 directly.. much more significant upgrades in this version! Thanks for the video!

Meanwhile in Canada we’re stuck on the Libre 1 with no news of Libre 2 lol . Why does it take us so long to get any upgrades on diabetic tech?

Otherwise I’m happy it’ll be arriving in Europe and the USA soon.

Major step forward and if it could integrate with the Tandem pump it would be awesome!

I just started to use the libre after being diabetic for 20 years, I just didn’t like the fact that I have to have something hooked to me all the time LOL.
I have a 15-year-old granddaughter who has wanted one for a long time and it’s good news that now in the US still allow children at certain ages to be able to get them.
