Great news, thank you for sharing! I always said, stop worrying about making it smaller, just make it more accurate. I would wear a Device the size of my cellphone on my arm if it was as accurate as my finger stick reader. Looks like Abbott turned up the dial and have the best of both worlds. I'm stoked! Bring it!

Libre 3 has FINALLY been released here in the U.K. but only on prescription and only on Android. IOS apparently in the next few months but we still can’t purchase it (Self funding G6). I love the G6 but I’m MDI, not pumping or looping so it would make sense to me to try the less expensive L3 as it has all the CGM requirements that I’m looking for without the extra expense of a med device that goes above and beyond what I require. Excellent vid as always btw :@)

I have both Libre 3 and the Dexcom G6. I really wanted to love the new Libre device which was recently released in the US because it’s very affordable in comparison to Dexcom but have gone through 2 sensors with Libre 3 and they are not accurate. Libre 3 is providing False readings after days of installation. Here are my results. Libre 3: 64mg. Dexcom G6: 107mg. One touch finger prick: 108mg. My Dexcom is very accurate and we are happy with the product but it’s very costly. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is great to hear. I personally prefer libre over dexcom. I'm hoping Abbott fixes their vitamin c issue with the libre so they can restart their integration with omnipod 5.
I'm not enjoying the dexcom g6, so far.

3 questions
1) Can a smart watch get data from the Libre 3 sensor without the phone being in range? or do you have to have the phone with you? Like if I'm running and want to have nothing in my pockets.
2) Can i get the Libre app on my Android locked screen? Basically I want to be able to push the power button to turn my screen on and see my number without having to unlock my phone or have to push any other buttons.. Just have my number displayed with the clock as soon as I push the power button
3) can I change the time range being displayed? Like if I want to see 3 hours of data instead of the whole day.

The results of the studies seem so promising and I was so excited to use the libre 3 because of it. I have received a couple of libre 3s from my doctor to trial them out. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much luck. It seems to read 30-50 mg/dl lower than I actually am. I get the critical low alarm quite often and to the point where the whole night it will alarm. I’m debating on continuing with the libre 3 to test it out for the whole 14 days, or removing it because of how inaccurate it has been. It’s been very disappointing for me :( I really wanted it to work.

I find this hard to believe- I am extremely disappointed with Libre 3 my readings have been off by about 10to 15 mg/dl

So far our experience on Libre3 is worse than libre1 and we find the products' performance at least mediocre! At normal blood sugar levels all is fine. But we've noticed that during night, especially between 3AM to 7Am many sensors are sending totally wrong low measurements while sometimes the sensor also stucks in low level for hours. We've used 10 sensors so far while 3 of them were thrown away as defective. Maybe we should keep our patience and not move to Dexcom yet. Anyone else having these problems?

Anyone know how to bypass/silence/override the alarms in the libre 3 app? Urgent low alarm can't be turned off in the libre app, and I've tried to silence them a few different ways within the phone settings, running Android 12. Nothing works. Any third party app out there that reads and works with the sensor, so I can ditch the Abbott app altogether?

So is it going to pair with the omnipod 5? Their pairing with the g6 is a joke. They only approved 7 older Samsung phones, (and no apples at all), so most of us will now have our phone. Our phone size pdm which also has no case and also does not have a blood stick monitor included so we get to carry that too. I'm looking for less not more. Right now have been on the phone for the least 2hrs a day trying to get answers and get set up. My dexcom app won't go on my active phone so I'm now also having to carry a second phone that will take the app. Appsrantky not all phones can do g6 either. So do each of us go buy these other phones that are far below the quality of our newer phones. I can't afford buying another phone and the extra cost of these systems and supplies. I was so helping this would help my diabetes distress issue especially at night!

I can take that and planable and shove it, so they don't like how it's being used they can just shut it off, or for other reasons I don't want to be monitored like that that's insane that's not a feature that's a crime, and an invasion of privacy, don't be stupid people don't use the under the skin chip anything.

Libre 3 is total rubbish after 5 sensors there was no one who measured correctly! The best value was a difference of 20 moles, otherwise there was always a difference of 40 to 80 moles
