This was a powerful presentation. The story was transformative. Tamara has a quiet power and demonstrated that you don't need to be loud to make an impact.

Tamara…this came at a brilliant junction. I am helping students/patients suffering from anxiety and depression. In my quest realised that voice needs to open to help them open their inner emotions and your video has underlined the fact so clearly. Rather it has taken things to all new level. Thank you. You are a Gem!!!

Thank you Tamara! What a powerful message, thanks for make us think we have to raise our voice if we have to, and pay more attention to the inner (and powerful) one voice we have.

What an incredibly moving video. Tamara is an inspiration, her passion is beautiful. Profound and empowering, everybody should have a voice! I’m a British English language trainer in Italy and I often see in my students that it’s not a lack of language skills that holds them back but deeper psychological factors. Thank you.

As a voice over who is doing a MA in vocal pedagogy this coach sure is clacking and smacking. But I like the presentation. The sound guy should have told her.

I'm somewhat skeptical about this idea. What Tamara is saying is successful, yes, but she has a tend to exaggerate the perks and successes of a voice to the point of infallibility when she said that this voice is "powerful beyond belief." While violence doesn't solve everything, Pacifism/non-violence is even more ridiculous. What if tyrants decide to kill people to prevent their opposition from blowing the whistle on them, taking away your voice, ultimately and your life, in the process?

Or better yet, here's a different scenario: What if the oligarch's such a speaker it catches people off-guard? Sure it'll sound innocent at first, with the oligarch letting out a promising speech. until one looks deep into their history and find something that implicates the oligarch, or the oligarch does something contradictory to their speech, then it all falls apart. A voice, if practiced enough, can deceive.

To Tamara Beatty, I say this: No, a person's voice isn't always so much more. It can help people out of depression and anxiety, but it's not so useful when that voice gets oppressed, doesn't it?

Ok so presence and sense of identity. That's what she can't seem to articulate.

There. I saved you 12 agonizing minutes of yawn and drag out.
