I just recently discovered Gohar. I feel that I’ve missed one of the great guitarists of our time. Thanks to UTube I have been able to listen to a lot of her music.

Gotta love a liberal dose of Ponce. One of the greatest composers for our guitar repertoire. I really enjoyed the performance, Gohar, you play Ponce very well indeed and his work needs to be interpreted well. It's not mushy music, indeed quite a lot of his works are very baroque in nature and you play that style with a very stable approach and a rock solid metronomic pulse which is of course essential to that genre. Thank you for the recital. I really did enjoy this very much.

Gohar, You are fantastically wonderful Guitarist, so much feeling and passion ! You are the most creative guitarist I have ever heard, your tone, and perfection of playing is unlike other players. Most of all your teaching pieces for technique and musical interpretation is better than any I have seen. I have become anew as a student learning things that I never knew to know. :-) I am 65 and the master classes I attended were good for my age but not really helpful. I feel as an independent Instructor of guitar I must incorporate as much of the critical aspects of guitar playing into my teaching. So many works and so little time. Thank you again personally for all you are giving to us for the Guitar.
