A lovely collection of colours! I really like the shading on R&K Alt Goldgrun in particular. I also got a set of 5 Jinhao x750 (perhaps the same set as yours, since I got the metallic colours). I noticed that one of the converters didn't seal properly because it had a hole (!!) near the top, so I just swapped it out with one from the others that did work. Since they are generic anyway, any international sized converter will go in the Jinhao x750. So I guess I'm saying that if the problems you're having are with the converter, that is an easier fix than anything else.

I'm still trying to find my "favorite" nib and honestly I think it changes with my mood! It also depends on which ink I'm using. I have Fine, Med, Broad and Stub nibbed pens and love them all. But I've tried some of my niece's fine pens and some of them are too fine. I do think the definition of "fine" changes depending on the manufacturer. My new Sailor Compass 1911 has a MF that has perfect flow. The choice of ink makes a big difference. Pride and Prejudice is really juicy. If you put that in a broad nib, watch out! We'll just have to keep shopping and experimenting!! I'm looking forward to your upcoming ink swatches. Wonder if you've tried Route 99?....
