What Do Strangers Think Of You?

We asked people to look in a mirror and describe what they saw. What they didn't know was that there were strangers on the other side of the mirror, giving their first impressions.

my problem is that i look really good in my mirror but i am not sure how other people see me i think i look a lot worse then in my mind

All these people are thin with no acne and hair if somebody who was really fat with really short hair and acne this would be different.

I want this to happen to me. Have a stranger on the other side of a mirror say what they think of me. It's educational and amazing to see how other people look at you compared to how you see yourself.

I don't like looking in the mirror all I see is imperfections and when people stare I think oh wow another person thinks I'm ugly 😢

I'm always shocked, when my friends take a random picture with me for their SnapChat or whatever, and they say, " awww you look so great in this I love it I'm keeping it now." I look at it and I'm saying and thinking " ew wtf delete it I look like a demon spawn of the morning." (First period class) and they're like "noo you look cute!" I look at them and say, " you look far more cuter in it than me.." and they say, " ew no what are you talking about?!"
You're your own worst critic. You see yourself more than anyone else, you know yourself more than anyone else. And most of all, when you see other's you're going to compare them to the one thing you know most, yourself. Don't think down about yourself, there are millions on this Earth, and only one you. As an individual, you have features someone will like and you'll maybe dislike. It's not wrong to feel a little self conscious, It's a human emotion, but when it starts beating you down.. that is when it becomes an issue..

In truth people are often caring to much about how they look to care about how you look.

I don't want to know what people think of me, all of the stuff I've heard so far has been negative... I think in reality, people aren't as nice as the Buzzfeed staff. lol

Thing is, the strangers would never say anything bad about the people, why would they? They knew they were being filmed, so why would they say something bad? Then they'd look bad on the Internet. Like, if I was in one side of the mirror and someone was being HONEST, they'd say I have a big nose. Which is true. But since they aren't, they're only going to talk about the good things they notice.

Or maybe I'm just pessimistic.

You know sometimes having people tell u how beautiful or perfect you are doesn't always work because the only person who can make you feel good about yourself is you and how you perceive yourself

The truth is, you look at yourself and you want to be accepted, so you start to dislike the things about you that are different. But people around you want to be with people who are interesting and unique, so they like the things that are different about your looks.
