I have a reverse Hill sachs defect and MDI (multi directional instability) with dislocations both posterior and anterior. My Orthopedic surgeon is wanting to do an Open Shoulder capsulorrhaphy. I asked him about a Remplissage. My question is do you think this is at all the right way to go? Not filling in an ingaging defect? He acts like that is out dated. I don't know. I just can't find much about MDI and Hill sachs defect Shoulder repair being done by Open capsulorrhaphy. I understand I'm just on the internet and you can't provide medical advice. Nor would I accept it as gospel. However would like to hear an opinion. I am going to seek a second opinion as well. Thanks for the video.
