You mention that if you obtain Malta permanent residency, you can spend time in the Schengen area without visa. There is still a time restriction.

Would it be fair to ask you to predict what Malta would be like 20 years from now as I'm only 41. For me, the top three concerns would be cost of living, safety and Healthcare. Do you forsee any major changes in those areas?

My daughter lived in Madliena for 12 years, a totally residential area, no shops and no buses. She was glad to return home to Britain 12 years ago. My home in England will NEVER be as cold in Winter as what her beautiful home was in Malta, only an electric eater that was useless with marble floors. There’s no place like home, we love to holiday there but to live no.

Went once for 10 days in 2012 hit a heat wave. Down side there are no beaches, I found it cheap one area I found was full of British people on disability benefits living out there.

malta is not cheap at all. it is very, very expensive. i have been there 2 times.
